The EFC was born on the mat of a Mixed Martial Arts gym with a simple idea: Provide up-and-coming fighters with the best opportunities to compete, while giving fans the best show possible. As an MMA organization founded by fighters for fighters, we fulfill this ideal at every show we deliver. The EFC searches for elite amateur and professional MMA athletes and matches them up using our experience in the sport to create the most explosive fights possible. Our team of dedicated professionals strives to represent the sport and the MMA athlete with the utmost respect and quality, while producing a live show that leaves MMA fans blown away. We are currently focused on fighters and events in Virginia and North Carolina, and as our organization grows we look forward to growing with our fans and our fighters.

Jamie Ridgeway, the founder of EFC is a 20 year veteran of Martial Arts with a black belt in Brazilian Jui Jitsu under Professor Pedro Saur and a black belt in Muay Thai. As the owner of a Jeet Kun Do gym that teachs MMA techniques and reality defense systems Jamie is on the forefront of the sport every day. Coach Jamie prides himself in his ethics and respect for the sport, and it's on these principle that EFC was founded.

Jamie's brother Jeremy Ridgeway, the other founder of EFC is also passionate about Mixed Martial Arts but focuses his talents to the business and promotional side of the sport. With 13 years in sales and marketing Jeremy wants to help you move your career forward as you go for the dream of being a professional MMA athlete. Getting noticed in this sport can be tough, by fighting for EFC you will be performing in front of the fans but also in front of those that can help make your dreams a reality. Jeremy's job is to bring those entities together. Jeremy pushes the business of EFC by bringing in more sponsors and helping you make the connections needed to take your game to next level.

Prototype Advertising is a creative, full-service ad shop with three offices in both Virginia and Texas. Our focus is to develop, design and deliver strategies that grow the bottom line of those who partner with us. Though our client base reaches far beyond our borders, the Prototype team also serves locally in the community and in those of our partners.

Since its genesis, Prototype's entrepreneurial spirit has lead to the creation of a number of companies, including Prototype Media, Prototype IT, Arctic Spray, HOPE Industries and eco-X Sports. Now, Prototype is partnering with Proximo Entertainment to bring top-notch EFC shows to Virginia and North Carolina. With our extensive background in marketing, advertising, PR, video productions and beyond, Prototype is enabling these fights to go to the next level in both quality and quantity.

JOSH OPPENHEIMER, Principal Founder of Prototype:
Working for the Washington Bullets (now the Wizards) and Capitals, Josh showed his ability to bring a winning team together through Client Care, Integrated Marketing Strategies and Implementation, as well as Agency Management. Josh currently spearheads the Prototype team, participating in both the creative and administrative process. His diverse experiences in marketing and advertising is complemented and balanced by his organizational skills and attention to detail.

TODD ALLEN, Principal Founder of Prototype:
Todd is widely recognized as one of the area’s foremost designers. He has successfully initiated and guided creative projects from conception to completion for over 15 years. Over this time period, Todd’s work has won countless local and national awards in the ind ustry. As Creative Director of Prototype, Todd now leads a hand-picked team of advertising professionals, in order to deliver the big ideas.
